I can't help but wonder why Allen chose to hide his location where his husband vanished. Maybe he was trying to warn us that something dark hid in the corners of the ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ, and keep us out. Maybe the ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ was alive.

Perhaps he was a danger to himself; thinking he could've harmed others. A madman with a misguided moral compass that led him nowhere but painful relevations. He shut himself in, lauquishing about his partner's death and the girl he failed to save. He longed for days where he could feel the sun's warmth upon him, and weeks where he could feel peace again.

It didn't come. Those days were just beyond his reach. He could only wish it wasn't like this.
